This morning I was asked to check the business server because I was told it rebooted a couple of times last week end.

Quite strange ... so I check the last time it rebooted with this command from DOS prompt:

To search the event logs:
1. Select the Event view list you wish to search
2. Click on "View - Find"

How to turn off Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration

To disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security do the following:


Go to Server Manager
Click the top item in the tree to the left "Server Manager"
On the page that appears, go to "Security Information"
Look for "Configure IE ESC" on the right.

This applies to windows 2003 server and windows 2008 server
